Don’t send help, I’m Thai-d up in paradise.
Located on the Southern tip of Phuket, Sri Panwa Resort is an upscale retreat with a distinct, modern design. Luxurious cliffside villas are beautifully appointed, offering stunning ocean views and private infinity pools.
The property is nestled above some of the best white sand beaches on the island. They offer complimentary paddle boards and kayaks, as well as 3 gorgeous pool areas and an expansive gym.

We stayed in the one-bedroom luxury pool villa A, which featured its own master suite as well as an additional indoor living room with a full separate bathroom, closet, kitchen, and outdoor lounge…to be honest, for a group of friends or a family this second room would be more than sufficient as an additional bedroom. I absolutely loved the design in this space; many of the walls were sliding window doors that allowed you to completely open up the room and stay inside without the sunshine guilt. Some of my favorite features were the outdoor ocean-facing shower, the steam room, and the jacuzzi bathtub.
The staff at Sri Panwa is unparalleled, they are friendly, professional, and practically superhuman with their efficiency. All movement throughout the resort is done via a took-took (fancy golf cart) driver to help with the steep hills along the cliff side. However, even with a resort this spread out we would receive service within minutes of calling; shout out to Ceasar, our butler, who was absolutely next level in thoughtfulness and service.
Sri Panwa is home to the world-famous rooftop lounge, Baba Nest, ranked as one of the top 10 rooftop bars in the world. With a relaxed bean bag and chill-type vibe, Baba Nest is surrounded by 360 degrees of infinity pools, and every cocktail comes with a view of the stunning ocean coastline and Ko Pha-Ngan's volcanic peaks.

There are 8 other dining establishments as well as a cooking school that teaches the art of Thai cuisine by the poolside. I absolutely loved all of the food, especially the pineapple fried rice at Baba Soul Food, the Thai restaurant. Additionally, we enjoyed an expansive complimentary breakfast that was made to order until your heart's content. Have
Staying at this resort was an entire experience, and while on the pricier side for the notoriously cheap country of Thailand, I think it was well worth the splurge. If you are looking to cut the cost consider traveling during off-peak season ( like me!) to enjoy huge savings. I’m already looking forward to one day returning with a big girl's trip but it would be absolutely perfect for a romantic luxury holiday or family vacation as well.
